Turns 4. & 5. The hook - 90° right, 180° left
A tricky complex with a change of surface. Requiring both extreme aggression and patience.
Enter the 90° right flat - for some a short lift during turn-in is required. Do not brake, or the kart will slide from the rear.
Straight line the apex of the first corner with the entry to the next. Then for some, a quick squirt of power.
Now use extreme violence, brake hard and brake late. Corner speed is low as is lateral momentum - whether you keep the kart in-line, or sideways - it matters little, just remember to tidy things up before turning 180° left.
Grip is low, the kart will push from the front. Wait for the front end to bite then pick the throttle up.

Turn 6. 80° right
Tricky. Don't loose momentum. At the same time, don't run wide.
Overtaking maneuvers into Chandlers start here. The track is too narrow to capitalise on any mistakes through the hook, but here the track widens. Start to build momentum out of the hook - place the kart of the right through here - then out-drag your opponent down the outfield straight.

Turn 7. 80° left
Flat. Leads onto the short outfield straight. Avoid the outside as it gets quite dusty and loose. Be aware of karts attempting to run up the outside. |
